When Mary Lou was young, the family moved to the Ballard area from Lamont WA, where Mary Lou attended Ballard High School. While living in Ballard, she met the love of her life, Clyde, who she married in 1954. After a few years of marriage, they bought their first home in the Greenlake area. After they settled into their home, Clyde joined the Seattle Fire Department. Watching Clyde excel through the ranks at the department was one of Mary Lou’s proudest moments, besides having 3 beautiful daughters.
Mary Lou enjoyed her children, grandchildren and her great grandchildren. Mary Lou and Clyde loved traveling, but mostly enjoyed cruising, they went on 40+ cruises taking them to places all around the world. They also enjoyed hitting every casino they could find, sometimes she did pretty good, other times not so much.
Mary Lou’s smile and laugh were contagious, she loved everyone she met and they loved her back. She always greeted everyone with a wave, a smile and a hug. She will be missed by so many!
The family would like to thank the Tribute Staff at Quail Park of Lynnwood, for all the care and the love that they showed our Mom. We couldn’t have done this journey without you. We thank you all.
Mary Lou is survived by her 3 daughters; Denise Lang (Paul d-2023), Cheryl Davis and Janet McFarlane (Doug) 4 Grandchildren; Lisa (Jeff), Shari, Jordan (Charlie) and Heather (Bryan) 6 Great Grandchildren; Jackson, Brady, Aubrie, Drew, James and Mick.
As mom would always say “KISS KISS”
