In loving memory of our mother, Marion Dunbar, 90, who peacefully passed away Friday morning, September 28, 2001, after suffering a stroke. She was born on September 25, 1911. One of eight children of Franklin and Anne Pynn, she grew up in Winchester, MA, graduating from Winchester High School in 1929. She attended Haward Business College and worked in Boston until her marriage on June 5, 1938. She and her husband and two children were constantly on the move, living in New York City, Milwaukee, Des Moines, Detroit, St. Louis, Boston, and finally settling down in Seattle in 1954. She was an active member of the Moose and a member of the University Presbyterian Church. She is survived by her husband, Reginald Dunbar, at home; her son Reg Jr. of Longview, Texas, her daughter Sandra of Las Vegas, Nevada; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She requested to be buried with her parents in Winchester, MA. Remembrances may be made to the American Diabetes Association and the Community Services for the Blind.
