

Iris was born in Indian Head, Saskatchewan, (Canada), on March 28, 1921, and passed away peacefully in her sleep on March 26, 2010, just two days shy of her 89th birthday. She was surrounded and comforted by family and loved ones at the time of her passing after suffering from complications with pneumonia.
Iris, daughter of Robert & Mabel Livingstone of Indian Head, was a long-term resident of the Magnolia district of Seattle. She is survived by her three sons, Ken of Seattle, Rick of Kent, and Bill of Boise, ID. Iris had 6 grandchildren, David, Jared, Jennifer, Megan, Aubrey and Jessica. She also had 2 great- grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews across Canada.
She was married to her late husband Don for 49 years after moving to the United States in 1949. Both were very active members of the First Presbyterian Church of Seattle where Iris served as a Deacon for many years. The two enjoyed traveling throughout the United States and Canada, as well as spending treasured family time at Wapato Point at Lake Chelan, as well as "snow-birding" in Sun City, Arizona. Iris also enjoyed golf, gardening, playing bridge, and participating in numerous Bible study groups, but most of all, spending quality time with family, friends and loved ones.
