Marjorie Benson passed away in Seattle on June 6, 2021, after a short illness. She was born to Arwin Emch and Kathleen O’Shaughnessy Emch who were from Seattle pioneer families.
Marjorie graduated from Roosevelt High School. She worked for the Alaska Communications System during World War II where she met her loving husband Don. They were married for 69 years before his death in 2014.
Her greatest joy in life was her family. She found peace in her home and was an avid reader and gardener.
Marjorie is survived by her twin daughters Deborah Cook (Jim), Kathleen Keul (Per-Odd), grandsons Jack Cook (Brendan), James Cook (Lonnie), Phillip Keul, and great-grandson Ethan Cook
