Marjorie Ann Benson

A memorial service for Margie Benson will be held Friday at 11 AM on August 11, 2017 at First Lutheran Church in Bothell, WA. with Rev. Richard Edmonds officiating. Interment was Wednesday July 26, 2017 at Sunset Hills Memorial Park, Bellevue WA. with Rev. Anja Helmon officiating. Casket bearers were Greg Benson, Michael Shanks, Greg Seymour and Martha and Daniel Berg and Kristina Resch.

Margie passed away, peacefully at home with family, on Saturday July 15, 2017.

Margie was born at home in Sisseton, SD on Dec. 29, 1931 to Ruth N. (Varland) Marvick and R. Otis Marvick. Margie was baptized, confirmed and married at Goodwill Lutheran Church in Sisseton, SD., and preceded in death by her parents and great grandson James Joseph Resch.

Margie is survived by husband Delno of Bothell, daughter Laurie A. Berg of Mill Creek, Greg D. Benson (wife Judy) of Everett. Grandchildren Kristina A. Resch (husband Adam Resch), Daniel J. Berg, Martha R. Berg and Mercedes J. Benson. Great grandchildren Keanu J. Berg, little Adam Resch and Emma Resch. Also survived by sisters Helen Ruohoniemi (Matt) of St. Paul, MN and Carolyn Leech (Ron) of St. George UT and sister in law Vickie Shanks and aunt Donna Fischer of Sequim, and many nieces and nephews.
