Age 87, passed away August 27, 2001 after a brief illness. Widow of Charles A. Lawrence, Jr. She was born in Holyoke, MA. Jean was a graduate of Boston University. She was an active member of the University Congregational Church, Women?s University Club and Friends of the Library. She is survived by her sons, Charles Lawrence and wife Margaret Connelly, Craig Lawrence and wife Therese Von; granddaughter, Katie Lawrence. Private services at her request. Memorials suggested to Friends of the Library.
