Martin Joseph Shallow Jr. was born and raised in Seattle, Washington, to Martin and Florence Shallow. He graduated from Ballard High School and went on to build a long and dedicated career as a railroad conductor and brakeman, a profession he proudly served in for 44 years before retiring in 2003.
Martin shared many loving years with his wife, Patricia. Together, they purchased a home in Shoreline, where they built a life filled with family, love, and many cherished memories.
Martin enjoyed camping, spending time with his family, and watching all kinds of sports, both on television and in person. He treasured the time spent with those he loved and will be remembered for the many memories he created with his family.
Martin was preceded in death by his sisters, Barbara Reisinaure and Margaret Burnett, and his brother, Richard M. Shallow.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Patricia; their son, Martin Joseph Shallow III; daughter, Michelle Nichols (Wesley); and granddaughter, Kathrynn Nichols.
Martin will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him. His memory will remain in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to share his life.
