Diana Blievernicht Xaudaro of Gig Harbor WA passed away on May 25th, 2018 at the age of 77 from complications due to congestive heart failure after a long and beautiful life. Diana was born on July 16, 1940, in Indianapolis IN, to Teresa R. Blievernicht and Waldo F. Blievernicht. Early in her childhood, the family moved to Atlanta GA, where she grew up alongside her brother Steve and sister Barbara Ann. Diana graduated from Christ the King High School in Atlanta GA and then attended Georgian Court University in Lakewood NJ. While on a cruise to Europe she met Stefan D. Xaudaro, and later they married in 1963. After living in Queens NY, the couple moved to Vancouver Island, Canada where their first child Stefan Jr., was born. Later the young family relocated to Great Falls MT, where their daughter Teresa and second son, Vincent was born. After moving back to Atlanta for a time they finally settled in Kennewick WA, where she and the family lived for the next 30 years, and third son Charles was born. Diana was known for her quick-witted personality and happy demeanor. Anyone who met her always left smiling because she easily lifted their spirits with her humor and positive character. Diana worked many years in numerous hospitals and medical offices as a medical secretary a job she very much enjoyed. Diana loved animals and over the years adopted an abundance of cats, dogs and injured wild birds that she would nurse back to health. She loved to name her cats after relatives a tradition the family upholds to this day. Diana also loved classical music and was an accomplished pianist and harpist. Although she later separated from her husband Stefan, they always maintained a close and loving friendship. Diana was preceded in death by her ex-husband Stefan D, Xaudaro, and daughter Teresa M.
