Matthew Thomas Kim

Born on March 27, 2009 in Tacoma, Washington passed away unexpectantly in Seattle Children's Hospital, Washington, December 21st, 2024.

Matthew was in the 11th grade in Inglemoor High School at the time of his passing. He enjoyed going to different parks and visiting places such as Leavenworth, Snoqualmie Falls, Dry Falls, Anacortes and loved spending time in nature. He also enjoyed going to the zoo, museums, swimming and any place with a body of water. He also had a great fondness and comfort in watching Daniel Tiger.

When Matthew was born he was classified as special needs. Anyone who knew and got to spend time with him just knew him as special. His sweet, gentle, patient and calm nature won many hearts and brought out the best in people.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Sang and Moo. He is survived by his mother, Jung Sun, father, Bob, stepfather Sonny and grandmothers Kyong and Young,. He also leaves behind aunts Eunjoo, Michelle and his uncle Sangwook along with cousins in Gig harbor.

His loving presence, innocence and eagerness to please will be terribly missed and never forgotten by his family and all who knew and loved him.
