June 23, 1937-December 20, 2000, will be deeply missed by family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents Sylvia and Edward Desmond of Seattle, Washington, and husband James ?Jim? Neely, whom she married on September 18, 1958. After graduating from Roosevelt High School and attending the University of Washington, Mayone worked as a flight attendant for United Airlines. Though always fond of travel, she and Jim were always happiest where they lived, surrounded by their family. They graciously opened their hearts and home to friends and relatives, making everyone feel welcome and loved. Mayone will always be remembered for her great strength, courage, dignity and grace, always evident during the hardest moments of her life. Mayone is survived by her children, Jeff and wife Donna, Scott and wife Amy, Shannon and husband Eric. She is also survived by grandchildren Callahan, Trevor, Darian and Chloe, in whom she took much joy. Family suggests memorials be given to the American Cancer Society.
