So sorry to hear of the passing of Sat fondly known by the Lever Bros.friends and colleagues.I knew him from 1974 till now and he kept in touch even though we moved from SriLanka to Canada and USA via phone.The last time we spoke was in February this year.Rasathy,Balan,Lingan and their families please accept my deepest sympathies.May his soul RIP.

Heartfelt Tribute to one of my father’s favorite first cousins and our uncle Satkunam. You along with aunty welcomed us with a smile when my father and I came to your house in Colombo to stay for a few days during my job interview appointment. You always welcomed us with a smile and inquired how we were doing. I will never forget the pleasant conversations you had with my loving paternal grandmother, your aunt, when you came to Vaddukodai from Colombo. You have had a remarkable life and you and aunty raised two remarkable children. I am immensely grateful to have known your wonderful children. Rest in peace.

Whenever we visited uncles’s place I remember we all took turns to sit next him to talk to him.  He made sure to choose topics suitable to individuals with varying interests and age groups.   

Due to Pandemic restrictions, we did not get to visit for two plus years.  It is sad to accept we cannot see his welcoming face anymore.
