She leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and compassion that touched the hearts of all who knew her.
A Life of Love and Faith
Nadine was a beloved mother and grandmother, survived by her two sons, Tracy and Anthony, her daughter-in-law, Leisha, and three cherished grandchildren: Miriam, Viviene, and Samuel. Her warm smile and attentive ear endeared her to everyone she met. Nadine's passion for her relationship with Jesus Christ was unwavering, and she shared her love for Him with everyone she crossed paths with. She found solace in reading her Bible and listening to gospel music, drawing strength from her faith throughout her long and fruitful life.
A Promise of Reunion
Nadine's departure from this earthly realm is not a cause for sorrow, but rather a celebration of her reunion with the one true God—the living King of the universe, Jesus Christ. As the song by Wendy Bagwell promises:
"I firmly promise you that I'll meet you by the river. On the banks of that evergreen shore. Where hearts will never break and our lips will never quiver. For the friends that have gone on before."
Psalm 23: A Comforting Reminder
The words of Psalm 23 provide solace during times of loss:
The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.
Forever in Our Hearts
Nadine's memory lives on in the hearts of those who loved her. We honor her life, her unwavering faith, and the impact she made on our lives. Though she is physically absent, her spirit remains with us, and we find comfort in the promise of eternal reunion. Amen.
