Sister Naomi L Allen

Naomi Laverne was born in Shreveport, Louisiana to the late John Armstrong and Minnie Armstrong on January 29, 1927.

Sister Allen attended West Shreveport and graduated from Central High School.

In 1956 she was united in marriage to Mr. Ulysses G Allen in Chicago Illinois

1969 the family relocated to Seattle WA where she dedicated her life to helping others through nursing. Naomi was a faithful Christian member of Walker Chapel AME church serving over 45 years. She shared her love of crafts with others through display of miniatures and gardening.

Naomi peacefully passed away on August 7, 2007 proceeding her in death are husband Ulysses Grant, and sisters Opal Armstrong Coleman, Lucille Armstrong Chappell, and Cleo McClendon

She leaves to cherish her memory 3 children: daughter Edree Allen-Agbro, and sons Grant E. Allen, and Damon M. Allen all of Seattle WA, 1 brother Jewel Armstrong of Chicago Illinois

She leaves 9 grandchildren: Atoke, Oghale, Kobena, and Naomi Jite Father Etamita Agbro; Devona, Lawrence De?, Denise, Wesley Mother Rene? Lawson, Jamar Mother Cynthia Hall and 3 great-grandchildren: Desirea, Devaughn, and Chase

Also her pug, Ebony.

In addition, she leaves a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, church family members and devoted friends.
