Napoleon Quintos Arcala Sr.

On Monday, August 12, 2024, Napoleon Arcala Sr., loving husband of 66 years to Francisca Arcala, father of three children, Nannette, Napoleon and Ritchelle, grandfather of six, Paula, Stephanie, Andrew, Christian, RayJ and Rylan and great grandfather of three, Rylee, Connor and Devon, passed away at the age of 90.

Napoleon was born on September 13, 1933 in San Narcisco, Zambales, Philippines . He joined the U.S. Navy in 1953 where he was assigned to various commands, warships and deployments throughout his career. He is a Vietnam Veteran and rose to the rank of Store Keeper Chief before retiring in 1973. He then returned to school to get his Business degree and started a fishpond business in the Philippines.

His passion was his family. Playing golf with his son and grandkids. Taking them to school and tournaments, mentoring and caring for them. In the military he was known for being a hard worker and very disciplined. He was also a great storyteller sharing his vast worldwide navy experiences. He had a big heart and has touched so many lives. His motto has always been " don't worry about me, take care of yourself and your family ".

Viewing services will be held at Evergreen- Washelli Funeral Home on Sunday, 18 August 2024 at 1pm to 6pm. A funeral service will be held at St. Thomas More Church on Monday, 19 August 2024 at 10am and burial services at Holyrood Cemetery at 1:30pm.
