Born February 14, 1980 in Edmonds; passed away March 20, 2003 in Shoreline at age 23. Nick is survived by his father, David L. Heckman and his wife Catherine; mother, Julie M. Grimm, her husband Patrick and sister, Allison M. Grimm, all of Seattle; son, McClain Nicholas High and his brother, Jared M. High; their mother, Marcy High and their grandparents, Ron and Ginger Devlin; his grandparents, William H. and Audrey Brewer, Victor L. Heckman, Don and Pat Grimm; aunts, Cindy Frisch, Linda L. Dan Gardner, Vicki L. Paul Dobner; uncles, Dan Carol Brewer, Ron Heckman, and numerous cousins. Preceded in death by his grandmother, Geri Heckman. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, March 25, 2003, 11:00 AM at Church of Christ the King Roman Catholic Parish, 405 N. 117th St. Seattle. In lieu of flowers, memorials suggested to the American Lung Association or Northwest Asthma Clinic.
