Nick Novak

Nick Novak passed away on 11/12/22 unexpectedly. He is loved and will be greatly missed. Nick was born in Fairbanks, AK and moved to Seattle when his father passed away when Nick was 8 years old. Nick has lived in Santa Barbara, Upland, and Long Beach, CA and in Boston, MA, however, the majority of his life has been spent living in the Seattle, WA area.

Nick graduated from Franklin High School in Seattle and UC Santa Barbara, CA. He was in the Army National Guard during the Vietnam years. His early career was spent at the Bon Marche Department Store in Seattle as a department manager and a buyer. Later in life, he sold real estate and managed commercial property.

Nick loved following the Seattle professional sports teams, enjoyed traveling, and loved his family and friends.

Nick was preceded in death by his parents, Nick Novak and Bertha Divyak Novak Paovich. He is survived by his wife Diane Novak, and sons Nicholas Novak and Christopher Novak. He is survived by his cousins as well.

A Memorial Service and Military grave-side ceremony will take place at Evergreen Washelli Funeral Home on December 3, 2022.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
