

Orv and his family moved to Ballard when he was twelve years old. He graduated from Ballard High School in 1944 and immediately joined the United States Army where he served as Paratrooper in World War II.
Orv and Marion Hazard were married in 1950 at Our Redeemer's Lutheran Church where they were lifelong members. Together they started Anderson's Door Company in 1977 which is still owned and operated by family.
Orv was preceded in death by his loving wife Marion who passed away in 2002. He is survived by his children Susan (Jim) Fegler, Sharon (Scott) McLachlan, David Anderson, and grandchildren, Brian Fegler, Brenda, Molly and Mac (Michelle) McLachlan, Blake and Tristen Anderson and great granddaughter Mya.
A private burial service for immediate family was held at Evergreen Washelli. Orv's family and friends will celebrate his life at a memorial service in 2022. Details of the memorial service will be posted at a later date in the obituary section.
