It is with profound sadness that we share the news of our beloved Panagiotis (Pete) Sideris, a loving husband, cherished baba, precious papou, son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 28, 2024 at the age of 80. He was surrounded by loved ones, but has left an irreplaceable void.
Panagiotis was born in Vouzi, Domokou, the small village in central Greece where his parents Giorgio’s and Kostandina Sideris raised him alongside his siblings, Vasilios, Niki, and Melpomene. At the age of 15 he moved to Lamia to play professional soccer, where a few years later he met his wife, Voula.
After their marriage in 1970, they moved to Seattle, where they became restauranteurs, running Pete’s Egg Nest on Greenwood Avenue in Seattle for over 20 years.
Panagiotis leaves behind three wonderful children, Vasilios, George, and Kosta and four precious grandchildren, Elizabeth, Pano, Eliana, and Odelia.
He was known for his extreme generosity, his hard work, and his huge heart. He loved everyone who came his way unconditionally.
