Patrice Chennelle Moss

Patrice Chennelle Moss graced this earth on February 27, 1991, in Seattle, Washington; born to Yashika Moss, she was the third of four children. She is preceded in death by her Grandmother, Linda Carol Moss; Great-Grandmother, Claudia Mae Taper; Brother, Anthoney Leon Moss; Aunt, Vetrice LeMaitre; and Uncle, Milton Taper. On January 30, 2025, God called her home, departing this life at 33.

Under the direction of the Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Patrice was raised by her Grandmother Linda Moss and Papa James Jones Jr. Patrice's education began at Elmwood Elementary School in Zion, Illinois. Her family relocated to Seattle, WA, continuing her education and graduating from Cleveland High School, Patrice was a woman full of ambition that led to her Daytona Beach, Florida, pursuing her collegiate education at Bethune-Cookman University, a prestigious HBCU where she obtained a degree in Criminal Justice. Setting her sights even higher, she enrolled in the nursing program at Daytona State College.

Patrice had a very charismatic personality in her teenage years. She was an active member of the Ebony Elks Drill team, earning the captain designation. The HBCU college experience is like none other; she took it all in. She settled in quite well in Daytona, making it her home. Although her mom and family were in Seattle, Daytona had her heart. Patrice was a diva in her own right. She had a keen eye for fashion and all things beauty. Keeping God as the center of her life, she was a faithful and active member of Calvary Christian Center in Ormond Beach, Florida.

Patrice leaves to cherish her loving memory mother Yashika Moss; sister Linda Carol Moss; brother Devonte Moss; three nieces Ya Mina Moss, Antoinelle Mini Moss, and Amia Moss; nephew Devonte Moss Jr; Papa James Jones Jr; Aunt Josie Williams; Uncle Charles (Faye) Arrington; Uncle Terry LeMaitre; all of Washington; her Daytona family; God Son Kobe Lee of Daytona Beach, FL; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

We love you, Trice, and you will be greatly missed.
