

Patricia Marie Fry was born Christmas Day, 1939 to adoring parents Otis Oliver and Opal Nichelle Dahman (nee Welch). Throughout her youth, Patty and her family lived in various places in Western Washington finally settling down in Seattle in the 1950’s. In 1955 Patty married Horace J. Sauve, Jr. and their first daughter Patty Jo came along in 1957. Their second daughter Chris Ellen was born in 1961. Unfortunately the marriage ended in divorce. Patty married Pat Fry on July 24, 1970. Patty gave birth to her third child Tammie Marie in 1971. Pat and Patty loved to do things together. At various times in their lives, they played pool, went bowling, played bingo, vacationed in Las Vegas and Reno, visited the zoo and sang Karaoke. Patty had a beautiful voice. She loved to sing Patsy Cline and The Platters songs from the 1950’s.
Patty lived the remainder of her life in Seattle. On January 23, 2014, Patty passed away peacefully in her sleep in the presence of God, Chris, Tammie and Pat after a long illness. She was 74 years old. She is survived by her husband of 43 years Pat, her sisters Nancy Peterson, Tameria Middleton and Lorna Byrd; her brothers Fred Dahman, John Dahman and Floyd Dahman; her daughters Patty Jo Clark, Chris Sauve-Imori and Tammie English; her granddaughter Julie Ann Mavros; her grandsons Pat English, Marty Clark, Joe Clark and Nate English and her great-granddaughter Kyra Star Mavros.
Patty will be laid to rest on February 4, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Evergreen Cemetery at 4504 Broadway in Everett, Washington. Pallbearers are to be grandsons Pat, Marty, Joe and Nate, special friend Doug Hein and brother-in-law Tim Gaines. The Celebration of Patty’s life will continue at 1:00 PM at Trinity Lutheran Church, 2324 Lombard Avenue in Everett with reception to follow at Trinity.
