

84, wonderful mother, wife, sister, grandmother, great grandmother passed peacefully away from this life. Christine was born in Seattle and graduated from Lincoln High School. She met and married her husband of 64 years and raised 3 children. Her accomplishments were many but her love was music and entertaining. She sold organs and pianos for Prosser Piano and Organs for many years. She and her husband loved to travel in their Rockwood Motorhome attending many rallies. She always had her keyboard with her and played for many clubhouse dances while she and her husband sand for the crowd. She traveled with a group of musicians called the Frustrated Maestros playing her keyboard.
She is survived by her children, Marilyn Dillard (Chuck), Janet Benson (Don) and Steve Pride. Seven grandchildren, Melinda, Andrea, Stephanie, Lindsey, Jennifer, Christopher and Gary Steven (deceased). One great grandchild, Jaeger.
She was a founder and first resident of quail Valley Park in Desert Hot Springs where she and her husband Al spend many winters after retirement. After Al's death she spend her last years being cared for by the wonderful loving caregivers at Evergreen Adult Family Home. The family is grateful for the compassionate tender care by the employees.
Many thanks to the caregivers at Providence Hospice during out mother's last days. The Pride family was a long time member of Olympic View Community Church. Our mom was a survivor for so many years and will be missed by many.
