Perry Rosen, age 89 of Seattle, WA passed away on August 10, 2020 after battling Parkinson's disease and contracting COVID-19. Preceded in death by his parents (Rose and Abe Rosen) and brother Ralph Rosen. Perry’s wife, Dolores (Dorrie) Rosen died of coronavirus 8 days prior to his death. Survived by children Scott Rosen of Eden Prairie, MN, Valerie Rosen (Steve Byther) of Seattle, WA and grandchildren Max, Rebecca (Becky) and Haley Rosen as well as extended family and friends. Perry grew up in Washington Heights, NY, and attended City University of New York. He served 2 years in the United States Army and then went on to receive his PhD in Chemistry from Columbia University. Perry spent most of his career as a chemist for the pharmaceutical company, Hoffman-La Roche. After he retired, he developed a few patents and worked as a consultant world-wide. Perry was an avid NY Giants fan and had season tickets for 64 years. Perry enjoyed spending time in NYC, all NY sports teams, watching his grandchildren play sports, running, reading, complaining and spending time with his family. A Zoom memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at 12:00 pm CST on Sunday, November 15th.
