Peter Lars Hanson

Pete was born in Omaha, NE to Hubert L. and Marian E. Hanson on April 11, 1936. The family moved to Ft. Morgan, CO three years later, Pete graduated from high school there and moved on to C. U. in Boulder, CO. It?s there that he met and married Doris J. Martin, previously from Rock Island, IL. Pete and ?Dusty? had three children; Darcy, Steven and Eric. They lived in Colorado Springs, CO until 1974 when his sales career moved him to Bothell, WA. There he lived for 27 years, joyfully receiving four grandsons; Kellen, Tyler, Kyle and Andrew, until being called home on November 6, 2001. His greatest joy was his family, never missing his grandsons? baseball games or any opportunity to be together as a family. He dearly loved his wife of 45 years and is deeply missed by all who knew him. He brought great joy into all our lives and is loved more immensely than words can describe. Pete was a member of Alderwood Community Church and enjoyed the fellowship and friendship of his Christian family. To the world?s greatest dad, grandpa, husband and friend to many - we are comforted in the knowledge that he rests peacefully in the merciful hands of our Almighty God.
