Quinn Tucker Mitchell took his journey to the lord, and joined all our loved ones that went before him. "Seat open!", was heard in heaven!
I find it ironic that we would refer to Quinn by his full name? For everyone in our vast circle of family and friends knew who we were talking about by a single letter, "Q"!
Quinn, was born on June 19th, 1972 and was the youngest child of Mark & JoAnn Mitchell. He would be the youngest of four children: Debbie, Bobby, aka John, and Michael, whom preceded him. Quinn was an active youngster who loved friends, family, sports, and showed a distinct flair for fashion at an early age.
Quinn had the type of personality that engaged people from all walks of life. Early on Quinn built a strong relationship with lifelong friend Shy Sadis. Shy and Quinn would live a friendship of shenanigans and great times with a plethora of amazing friends. They were the core of two amigos that so many people built their friendships around. Too many great times to count. Great friendships are rare. Quinn and Shy were always on great terms and had a bond that comes once in a fortunate lifetime.
Quinn, used his great people skills to help the family business at The Drift On Inn and Club Hollywood Casinos. It was there that Quinn met Summer and had three beautiful children, Camlin, Cassidy and Sonja. One thing is clear that whenever I spoke with Quinn. he always shared how much he loved his kids!
Quinn, would have a fourth child with Sary, a beautiful son named Ocean who like Camlin shares Quinn's looks and zest for life! These four children hopefully will be surprised the rest of their lives by how many people will let them know that they knew their father and how special he was. Strangers and family alike, sharing their experience knowing Quinn and letting these wonderful kids stay close to a father that left us all to soon.
When you play certain music, everyone brightens up and sings along, forgetting any problems or worries for a brief moment. Quinn was that song in persona and in life. He brightened up your day with a smile or joke. He made you feel special with his kindness and love. He is gone to soon, but we are thankful for the time we had! God bless you Quinn until we see you again. Celebration of Quinn's life will be held at the Aurora Borealis on May 8 at 16708 Aurora Ave. North Seattle from 3:00 - 6:00
