Born on May 21, 1960 in Suva, Fiji, Pundit Ravindra immigrated to Canada in 1988 and later to the United States in 1998. He worked for Community Transit and was a Pundit (priest).
He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Sanita; his son Rob and his siblings Rajendra, Gyanendra, Nayantra, and Sumintra. He was preceded in death by his parents, late Pundit Hari Deo Shandil and late Mrs. Kamal Pati Shandil and his siblings Mahendra, Satendra and Utra.
His memory will be cherished by all who knew him.
