Richard Bryce Wall, 84, was born April 19, 1928 in Waterville, Washington. Richard, his 4 sisters and 3 brothers were raised in the wheat farming town of Mansfield, Washington. Long days and hard work was expected by all. As a young man Richard served his country with the Army in Korea. When he returned, he met the love of his life Hallie Nutt in Coulee City. After sometime the young couple and their 3 boys headed for Seattle. Life was a struggle and the budget was tight, but their hard work ethic and their strong love for one another led them to many successful business adventures. Real estate, mortgage & escrow, building, land development, owning & operating a rock quarry. And in their retirement years they traveled extensively, training and racing thoroughbred horses. They had an active exciting life, if it were a reality show, it would be a hit! In May of 2012 his soul mate of 64 years, Hallie passed away. Although Richard had successfully conquered cancer, this was something new, a broken heart. In the nights that followed he would wake thinking that his love was next to him. On January 21, 2013 Hallie held his hand and led him to heaven. Richard will be deeply missed. Their lives will live on through their 3 sons & 1 daughter-in-law, Chad Hallett, Donivan Hallett, Ric & Chris Wall, 5 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.
