Robert "Bob" Louis Andrew
May 13, 1924 – April 18, 2021
Born on May 13th, 1924, Bob Andrew passed away just shy of his 97th birthday. Married to Geri Jane (Marty) Andrew for 58 years, Bob is survived by his adored two daughters and sons-in-law, Robin (Jim) Walker and Heidi (Curtis) Reusser, 5 beloved grandchildren, Nick, Luke, Bobby (Angie), Natalie (Mark), Carl, and one great grandson, Mookie. A third generation Seattleite, Bob was a graduate of Ballard High and Pacific Lutheran where he played end on the Hall-of-Fame Pear Bowl team after serving as a Navigator during WWII. Bob was an educator, coach and administrator in the Seattle School System and long-time member of Ballard Kiwanis. He retired at 58 to “the most beautiful place in the world” in Eglon, Washington on Puget Sound. He passed away peacefully in his sleep at home after a day with family on his deck on a spectacular sunny northwest day. He lived life to the fullest, happy and on his terms. Loved by many, he will be missed, but we’re happy he’s with Geri again. A family service was held at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery on Queen Anne. Donations can be made in Bob’s honor to the Ballard Kiwanis Memorial Foundation, and we suggest you toast a life well lived with a Scotch and soda and Cheetos. God bless.
