He married Dorothy K. Atkins on November 25, 1995.
In the Army during WWII, while stationed at the Fort Richardson Army Base, one of his many accomplishments was helping build the Alaska Highway from Seward to Anchorage.
Bob dedicated his career to fire fighting, he worked for the Boeing Aircraft Company for 30 years. He spent his last 10 years as Fire Chief.
He was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe and had a passion for tinkering with things and shopping at garage sales.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Elise and son, Edmond. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy, 6 children, 17 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. He is dearly loved by his many family members, fire fighters and friends. He will be missed.
Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe and his Burial will take place at the Tahoma National Cemetery where full military honors will be afforded.
