
First and foremost, Robert was a family-focused man. He had a special connection with each and every family member. He also had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and meaningful way. He was beloved by all who got to know him.
He was a passionate mountain climber, trekker and hiker for the past 40 years. He enjoyed an active, adventurous life to the fullest. Robert was an avid Indiana University Basketball and Seattle Sounders supporter and loved driving his new Tesla everywhere.
Robert was always deeply involved in politics and recently worked very hard to keep Wayne Golf Course undeveloped, including the passionate support of OneBothell.org
He recently retired as CEO of Lee Sherman & Associates, a manufacturer's representative company. Prior to that, he was Vice President of Sales for Peck, Inc. a paper products manufacturing company.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents Anthony and Florence Contreras.
He is survived by his wife, Michele LeBrasseur, sons Robert (Colleen) and Aaron (Angie), his grandchildren Anthony, Andrew, Annabella, brothers Richard (Troy and Dylan), Marc (Jenny), Paul (Amy, Melissa, Nick, Gayle, Katie) sisters Maria (Mark), Janet (Michael) and Lisa (Harry, Megan, Chris).
