Bob lost his battle with leukemia on June 28, 2003, and went to be with his Lord. He was born on August 19, 1935, in Boise, Idaho, and he grew up in Melba, Idaho. Bob graduated from the University of Washington with a Master's Degree in Finance and excelled in his professional life in the insurance/bonding business in both the Anchorage, Alaska, and Seattle areas. He purchased Olympic Insurance Agency in Edmonds, WA, in 1986, and was an active part of that firm until the time of his death. Bob's entire life was filled with a passionate love for sports of all kinds, and he excelled at both baseball and basketball. He was a longtime season ticket holder to the Seattle Mariners and Washington Huskies, and the golf course was his "heaven on earth?. Bob married the true love of his life, Lynette Rasmussen, on March 2, 1985, and she survives him, along with a wealth of family and friends who can't imagine life without "Mr. Kindness". Bob's magnetic smile, his brilliant mind, his great sense of humor, his unwavering integrity, and his heart bigger than all the world will be deeply and forever missed. A tribute to Bob and his remarkable life will be held on Thursday, July 3, 2003, at 2 p.m. at University Presbyterian Church located at 4540 - 15th Ave. NE, Seattle.
