Robert (Bob) John Legg, 83, passed away on February 25th, 2014, in Edmonds, WA. He was born May 2, 1930, in Everett, Washington to John and Gertrude Legg. He has been a long time resident in this area.
He is survived by his loving wife Carol of 38 years; son, Robert J. (Loralie), daughters Terrie Gill (Tracy), Becci (Robert) Willoughby, Sandra Nordquist (Russ) and Sabrina Elkington. He adored his 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Edna and Joanne, son Frank Elkington.
He graduated from Everett High School in 1948, and then completed 2 years of college. After college he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. He served in Korea until he was severely wounded. He received an honorable discharge in 1952.
He was a life-long member of the Free Methodist Church and loved spending time with his family. The family would like to thank the Veterans Administration for their loving care over the years.
