Passed away on February 2, 2008, in Seattle, Washington. He was born in Seattle, to Metro and Lyle Miller on August 4, 1941 and lived a majority of his life in the Seattle area. Robert faithfully served two tours of duty in the Army during the Vietnam War and was Honorably Discharged in 1968. He worked and apprenticed in the automotive industry and eventually bought a business that he made a success of in the industrial area of Seattle. In addition to his business Rainier Diesel Electric, Inc. he was a natural business entrepreneur that was always looking for ways to invest and help others. He occasionally served on the Board of Directors for local businesses. He is preceded in death by five of his brothers and survived by his brother Fred Miller; sisters, Mary Anderson, Patsy Hammer, Ilene Cowles, Rose McSparin, Joyce Murphy and Delores Whitish; daughter Chelsea Miller and grandson Isaac Miller.
