Bob went to be with his Lord on March 22, 2012, with his wife and daughters at his side. Bob was born in Allentown, PA to Edith and Robert F. Smith. After serving in the Navy he moved to Seattle and worked as a custodian for the Seattle School District until his retirement in 1999. Bob was active in his retirement, enjoying his family, bicycling and volunteering. He also enjoyed model trains and photography. He served and lived out his faith at the Second Hand Rose Thrift Shop, Greenbean Coffee House, Greenwood Senior Center, Greenwood Food Bank, Community Dinners and was a member of the Greenwood Knights Car Club.
Bob is survived by his wife of 36 years, Marilyn, and daughters Emily Smith and Kelly Smith. Also, his sister-in-law Susan (Mike) Atkinson, nephews Michael (Amy), Stephen (Selena) and great nephews and nieces, Ethan, Ryan, Ava, Molly and Azalea.
