Roger was and is my all time favorite mentor in my life.  He taught me so many things about how to handle work related issues with Traffic Management and at the same time without even trying shared so many ways of being professional and a genuine human being.   My heart is incredibly sad to hear he has left this world.  I take comfort in knowing that I had the honor and priviledge to have kown this man. He made the world a better place and will be sorely missed by countless people.  My thoughts and prayers go out to his friends and family at this time.

I just wanted to send my condolences.  As you know, Roger was an incredible teacher, mentor and friend.  When moving to Seattle over 15 years ago to join the Boeing Traffic organization at Renton-Benaroya; Roger was my lead and took me under his wing to train me in both domestic and international traffic/logistics operations.  I have taken that training and used it throughout my career with The Boeing Company.  His support and friendship has helped me to be successful in all that I do today.  He is someone that will truly be missed by many.

I also had the opportunity of working with Roger in the Boeing Traffic Organization and respected him for his knowledge and understanding.  He was an incredible mentor and caring human being. Where do you begin when you lose a friend like Roger?  So many postives describe this fine man.  He was so kind, gentle, funny, witty, smart, and so very knowledgeable.  He loved fine things, wine and music.  He was not only my mentor at Boeing, but a good friend.  I truly respected and admired Roger. The world has lost a great man.  He will forever live in our hearts and memories.  To Arlene and his family, our deepest condolences.

Arlene and family, My heart goes out to you in your time of loss, Roger was always so kind to me, I have missed seeing him since his retirement from Boeing, he was Mr. Traffic. It is always a very sad day in the world when such a wonderful man leaves us to bless those above with his presence. 
When I started at Boeing many years ago Roger was so kind and helpful to me, offering his assistance and guidance with no conditions. I could not have made it through some very tough situations without him and was thankful for him every day. 
He was loved by many and will be missed just as much.

Roger was the type of person to who you give a asigment and know it would be done in a profesional manner.  You could relay on the job getting done on time.  I remember one shipment that did shake him a little.  One night we had to move a large part from the Kent Space Center to Boeing where a Air Force plane was waiting.  We did this late so there would minimum expouser of the Box.  Roger called to say the shipment was on its way and followed it to Boeing field.  Much to our surprise a large group of young people arrived right next to the Plane we were planning to load.  This group had come to meet the "Rolling Stones" who had a concert for the next day.  The only thing we could do was wait till They left for their hotel.  Everyone was so excited about the "Stones" no one paid any attention to our shipment.  The "Stones" left, the croud left, and we loaded our plane and everyone was happy.  While we got to see the "Stones" we did not close to them.
But it was a interesting night. Roger was the only person who did not get excited about this event.  In fact I can not remember him ever going into a panic mode.  He always kept his head clear and just got the job done.  We knew if He was on the job it would be in good hands.
