A longtime resident of Edmonds, WA. passed away on December 6th. Ron was the only son of Gustaf and Mildred Forsman. He was born July 15, 1923 and raised in Seattle. Ron served in the U.S. Army and was a decorated WWII veteran. He then began a lifelong career with the U.S. postal Service, first as a letter carrier and later as a Supervisor.
Ron is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Norma Forsman, three children Janet Schaefer (Richard)of New London, N.C., Carol Smyth (Michael) of Edmonds, WA., and Joan Collins of Stanwood, WA., six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his great granddaughter Avery Macaluso.
