Russell was a talented chef who took pride in his craft. He brought care, creativity, and intention into everything he made. Being in the kitchen was not just work for him. It was how he expressed himself and how he cared for others.
He showed up for the people he loved without hesitation. Russell was caring, generous, and funny. He was very smart and carried a quiet confidence. Beneath that strength, he was deeply loving and affectionate. He made people feel seen, supported, and valued.
He is survived by his mother, Wiley Gail Marchetti; his father, Wilson Igna; his brother, Luciano Marchetti; his sister, Kayla Igna; and his stepbrother and stepsister, Anthony Marchetti and Regina Marchetti. He is also lovingly remembered by his maternal grandparents, Wilfilda Collins and Leon Calipusan; his paternal grandmother, Grace Gonzales; his uncles, Leowill Calipusan and Alex Calipusan; and his aunt, Debbie Igna.
Russell’s life will be honored at Evergreen Washelli Funeral Home on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at 11:00 am.
