Sahana Darshini Ramesh affectionately called Kidney Beans, Chooch, and Nanamma, was a beautiful, loving girl who was brimming with life and energy. She left us on February 12th at the age of 16. She was surrounded by her mother, father and brother who will love her wherever she is, strive to uphold her legacy and forever cherish the wonderful memories she left behind.
She was born in Edmonds to Nalini and Anapathur Ramesh on March 19th, 2004 at Swedish Hospital.
She was her mother’s helper, friend, side-kick, confidant, fashion consultant, food critic and many more. She was her father’s sugar plum and shared his affinity for math. She was also her brother’s best friend and shared his sense of humor. At home, her beautiful melodies on the piano kept us in good cheer. She had an avid interest in cooking and learning about different cuisines from all over the world. She was the joy for everyone in her family who will forever remember her for her exuberance for life and her fearlessness for living it the way she wanted.
She was happy to engage in conversation with everybody no matter their age, popularity or appearance. She never let her own hurdles or doubts get in the way of accomplishing her goals and enjoying life the way she wanted.
Sahana’s courage will be her greatest legacy. Her presence will be sorely missed every day by her family and by everyone who was blessed to have her in their life.
Sahana’s funeral and last rites were performed according to the Hindu traditions at Evergreen Washelli Funeral Home in Seattle on February 19th. She was cremated on the same day and her ashes were immersed in the Pacific Ocean at Golden Gardens Park, Seattle on February 20th, 2021.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.Evergreen-Washelli.com for the Ramesh family.
