Our beautiful, daughter, sister and friend. Passed away on December 5th after a courageous battle with cancer. Sandy was born in Seattle, Sept. 9, 1948. She graduated from Lincoln High School in 1966. In 1965 she began her career with Bank of America and worked until this year, marking her 40th Anniversary with the bank. Sandy is survived by her parents Donald L. and Winifred L. Burke, siblings: Michael D. Carol Burke, Donald P. Kathleen Burke, Debra A. Timothy Garrett, nieces and nephews: Amanda and Andrew Burke, Ashley, Michael and Ryan Garrett all of Seattle. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donation may be made in Sandy?s name to the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. At Sandy?s request there will be no services.
