We are sad to announce the passing of Shayla Alyssa Daw. Shayla, 31, passed away on November 18, 2023, in Oahu, Hawaii. Shayla will be deeply missed.
She was born in Folsom, California on December 26, 1991. Shayla went to Cotopaxi Junior-Senior High School in Cotopaxi, Colorado. Shayla had a strong passion for horses and event planning. Shayla was a loving mother, wife, daughter, niece, sister, aunt, and friend.
Shayla married Jeffery Daw on July 22, 2014, and they welcomed their beautiful daughter on April 14, 2015.
Shayla was predeceased by her grandparents, Hugh and Maymie Wells and Jim and Wanda Langley. She is survived by her husband, Jeffery Daw, and daughter, Blakely Daw. Her mother and father, Tina Wells and Randy Langley. Her sisters and brothers-in-law, Brittany Clavette(Alex), Tessa Wagener (Adam) and her nieces and nephews: Sophia, Owen, Wesley, Jackson, Quinn, Bennet, Weston, Cole, and Thea.
Services will be held at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church on December 9, 2023, at 10:30 AM and Shayla will be laid to rest at 12:45 PM at Calvary Cemetery in Seattle, Washington. There will be a memorial in Colorado to follow.
