
Age 93. Born Asti Shirley Johnson on December 15, 1910 to Eugenia and Axel Johnson in Georgetown, WA. Passed away September 7, 2004 at Talbot Center in Renton, WA. Shirley lived 90 years of her life near Cleveland High School, graduating from Cleveland in 1929. Her husband, Leo, preceded her in death in 1973. Also preceding her in death, sisters Alice Campbell and Edith Morningstar, brothers, John O. Johnson and Douglas A. Johnson. Shirley loved books, history, flowers, the color pink, dancing, going downtown and especially entering contests, many of which she won. Notably, she won bowling equipment for her family by naming Skylane Bowl in Georgetown, and a red ?66 Mustang from KOL radio and much, much, more. She was proud of her Swedish heritage and so very proud of her children and grandchildren. She had a ready smile for all.
Shirley is survived by son Gary L. Angie Deyak, Renton, daughter Jeanne M. John E. Gordon, Renton. Grandchildren: Tami Jim Koch, Renton, Ryan Patty Deyak, Maple Valley, Debra Mark Styner, Kirkland, John G. Jodie Gordon, Kent and great grandchildren Jonathan and Morgan Koch and Brady Deyak.
