Bing suddenly passed away in the early morning of March 30, 2024 in Kirkland, WA.
Born in Hagonoy, Bulacan, Philippines, he grew up alongside his nieces and nephews of his siblings. After marrying and starting a family he emigrated to the US in the late 70’s. He loved spending time with family playing mahjong, telling stories, cracking dad jokes, listening to music, singing karaoke, and dancing. He really enjoyed being with friends, having get-togethers, helping whomever was in need and meeting new people.
Bing was formerly an active member of several Filipino Organizations in the surrounding Puget Sound region. As a very social person he would also volunteer in the Hospitality Ministry at Church. He made lots of friends wherever he went including the various workplaces he was employed at throughout his career before he retired from Boeing. He spent his remaining years traveling, reconnecting with old family and friends as well as meeting new ones.
Survived by his loving family; wife Lourdes; daughter Mary Anne (Stephen); son Fred (Heather); grandson Nathan; numerous nieces and nephews in the US and Philippines, various grand/great-grand nieces and nephews scattered around the world.
He was preceded in death by his father Rafael, mother Theresa; half-siblings Santiago (Claudia); Milencio (Felicidad); Engracia (Marcelino).
The Medina Family appreciates all the support from family and friends. Please share any fun or fond memories of Bing as he always wanted to be the life of every party and get together.
