Takino Murata

Takino Murata, 97, of Normandy Park, WA, passed away April 13, 2014. She was born in Honolulu, Hawaii on Sept. 19, 1916. She was married to the late Hideo Murata (deceased Nov. 15, 1965) on Oct. 3, 1938. She had a passion for Japanese gardening and enjoyed visiting ocean shore environments. She was survived by daughter Karen Morgensterm of Petaluma, CA and son Ronald Murata of Normandy Park where she lived the last 48 years of her life. Takino had 2 surviving sisters Barbara Shimabukuro and Gladys Morisako., both of Honolulu , Hawaii. Funeral arrangements will be held at 10:00 am, April 18, 2014, at Yarrington”s Funeral Home. Final resting place is planned at Hawaiian Memorial Park in Kaneohe, Hawaii. To leave a condolence to the family please remember the good work of the American Stroke Association.
