Age 92. Born October 25, 1908 in Las Villas, Cuba passed away November 29, 2000 in Seattle, Washington. The Reverend Dr. Castano was a Baptist Minister who served the Lord for 65 years. He also served as a lawyer in Cuba, graduated from University of Havana with a doctorate degree and taught Spanish in the Peace Corps. He was a faithful and loving husband of Blanca Nieves. Preceded in death by daughter Sarah Izenbart. Cleofas is survived by Sarah's husband Ken Izenbart; daughter Ruth L. husband, Phillip Hendricksen; son Manuel wife, Jenifer Castano; grandchildren: Juan Carlos wife, Renee Diaz, William Diaz, Sarah husband, Alan D. Forst, Jonathan wife, Monica Izenbart, Elizabeth Izenbart, Ruthann husband, Jose Palma, Anthony Castano, Sarah Castano and Alexander Castano; great-grandchildren: Adrien Diaz, Nikolas Fernandez, Briana Diaz, Willy Diaz, Elias Diaz, Nathan Forst, Sarah Palma and Christian Palma. He is also survived by a host of family and friends whom he loved dearly.
