
in Seattle and was educated at John Hay Elementary School, Queen Anne High School and the University of Washington.
His childhood summers were spent in Alaska, where his father operated salmon canneries in
various locations.
He was the owner of Kel-Kote, Inc. and had many friends in the marine industry.
He was a longtime member of Bethany Presbyterian Church, where he served in many
capacities.
During his entire lifetime, he owned boats, and the family has cherished memories of the
years of boating in Puget Sound and Canadian waters.
Tom was a lover of music and a talented drummer. He formed his own dance bands in high school and played in many bands throughout his life.
He will be remembered for his deep Christian faith, his love of family and friends, his wonderful sense of humor, enthusiasm, love of nature, music, boating and traveling to many places in the world.
He was preceded in death by his two brothers, Robert and James Kelly.
He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Mary Bess, his daughters, Judy Lepire Tony, and Gail Simmons Ron, his grandsons, Tyson SimmonsAmanda, and Cory Simmons Paula.
A celebration of Tom?s life will be held Saturday, February 3, at 2:00 p.m. at Bethany
Presbyterian Church - 1818 Queen Anne Avenue North, Seattle.
