Please accept my sincerest condolences on the loss of your beloved, Velma. I pray you will find comfort in the promises from our Creator when he states, 'Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out (John 5:28, 29). This is a guarantee from God that soon we will be with our loved ones in the resurrection.

We will miss Velma. I was fortunate to spend some time during her retirement enjoying picnics, trips to gardens, nurseries & movies with her.

I worked with Velma here at Shoreline.  Her friendliness will never be forgotten.  Please know that the whole family is in my thoughts and prayers.

Our thoughts are with you Cheri, Rick, Robin, Van and his family. Velma fed me and took good care of every young person who came through her door in the 70's and I'll miss making her laugh once in a while!

I met Velma just about ten years ago at the Shoreline School District.  I came to work in the same office as Velma.  Velma was very kind to me, greeting me daily, showing me the 'ropes of the Accounting Office', and always making sure I was included.  I came to know Velma as a very dilligent worker,and gentle person.  She never missed a day of work.
I learned that she went to school with my mom.  We both enjoyed dancing, and being creative with the sewing machine.
  December of last year, some of us from the School District had a most enjoyable pot luck get together at Velma's.  It was a good time to remember for all.  I am missing you Velma, and I am thankful for the fond memories that we all have of you.

I remember when I first met Velma, she would give me a new snowglobe every year for Christmas, I am very glad my son was able to meet her too!  We will both miss her very much!

I have 25 years of wonderful memories of Velma.  I shall miss my best friend and the laughter and love we shared - from Hawaii being to hot and the scene we saw on the beach at Ocean Shores.  Velma promised me when she moved into her new home that I would not have to help her paint.  We painted every room at her LFP home but the downstairs bathroom.  She always had a chore for me to do - we where a good team. 

My condolences to all of Velma's family, and a special thank you to Manor Care for their thoughfulness and loving touch.

We welcomed Velma into our hearts and family. Velma was well loved and will be sorely missed.

Am sending sincere sympathies, I truly enjoyed working with Velma during our times together at the  Shoreline School District.  Velma  was always one to help a newcomer feel welcomed in a new job.  I know that she has touched the hearts of many of us who had the opportunity to work with her.  We know that she is now at peace.

I loved my Grandma very much.  We had special times together when she would take care of me.  I really liked it when she would rub tickle my arms and hands!!!

It was a joy to work with Velma. She will be very much missed. Our prayers are with her and her family.

My sincere condolences in the passing of Velma. I enjoyed visiting with Velma at the family gatherings and the conversations we had together. She was warm, friendly, and sincere. It was an honor to have had those special time times together.

Velma, was a wonderful person and a great person to work with.  We worked together many years.  We took many of breaks together.  Velma will surely be missed. Velma's family is in my thoughts and prayers, words cannot say enough.  A special thanks to the staff at Manor Care.
