VERN W. JEPSEN, 78, passed away Monday, May 6, 2002 after suffering a heart attack. Vern was born December 16, 1923 in Preston, ID the son of Agnes and Harm Jepsen. Vern served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He retired from Cascade Natural Gas Co. after a 32 year career as a Customer Accounting and Credit Manager. Vern was a hansom man with a positive attitude who was friendly to everyone he met. Vern was a loving and devoted husband to his wife of 46 years Ann Jepsen. He was a wonderful father to his son Terry and his wife Eileen Miles. Vern is also survived by granddaughter Kelly Ann Miles; sisters Phillis Steneck, Vera Adams, Ruth Jensen and Arlene Warburton; brothers Herman, Donald, and Bud Harm Jepsen; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Friday, May 10, 2002 at 12noon and will be conducted at Evergreen-Washelli Funeral Home, 11111 Aurora Ave. N., Seattle. Family committal services will be held at Ephrata Cemetery, Ephrata, WA.
