Vivian passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends on November 26, 2014, just a little over a month after celebrating her 90th birthday. She had a smile that could light up a room and unlimited kindness.

She was raised in Cheyenne, Wyoming, before moving to Seattle, where she attended Adams Elementary, James Monroe Junior High School and Ballard High School. She married Erick Norman Johnson, a Seattle native, raising four children. She was an active, long-time member of the Eastern Star, Occidental and Doric Chapters, as well as belonging to the Ahmes Court #41, Ladies Oriental Shrine.
Vivian is survived by her brother Melvin Johnson; her sons Larry E. Johnson and Chris V. Johnson, daughters Paulette L. Brewer and Cheryl M. Johnson; grandchildren Donna L. Drazinski, Stephen J. Ofcharick, Christian A. Ofcharick, Benjamin C. Johnson, Dr. Lewis E. vdL Johnson, and Victoria Johnson; as well as six great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, please offer a prayer for peace and kindness.
