Walter A. Crow11-29-1914 to 1-5-2009 Walter A. Crow was born in Fort Benton, Montana on November 29, 1914 to A.D. Crow and Berniece Hughes Crow. They also had two daughters, Edith and Virginia. Walt moved with his family to Washington state as a child to the family homestead near Maltby, Washington where he attended and graduated from Bothell High School in 1933. During WWII, Walt was a welder at the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard where he met his first wife, Evelyn Jaekel. To this union was born two children, Walter N. and Evalyn In 1946 Walt established Crow Roofing & Sheet Metal in Seattle. Always active in his community, Walt was one of the founding members of Western States Roofing Contractors Association in 1974 and was elected president in 1978. He was also past president of the Roofing Contractors Association of Washington, Governor of Seattle Moose Lodge #211, past president of Seattle Executives Association and served on many boards in the roofing industry. Walt remarried in 1967 to Dona Lee Gregorius. They celebrated their 41st anniversary in August. In addition to his wife, Walt is survived by his children; Wally and Cheryl Crow, Evalyn Mifflin, Victor and Kathryn Gregorius, Teresa and George Jones, Garry and Karen Gregorius, and Anthony Gregorius. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many friends. Predeceasing Walt were his parents, his first wife Evelyn, sisters and brother-in-laws. Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, January 12th at 1:00 p.m. at Evergreen Washelli, 11111 Aurora Avenue North, Seattle.
