Walter D. Irvin passed away at age 58 on September 14, 2016. Wally was born January 12, 1958 in Seattle and has been a resident of Bothell since age 2. He attended Maywood Hills, Canyon Park Junior High and graduated from Bothell High School in 1976. Wally is survived by his parents Donald and Margaret Irvin, 1 brother, David Irvin, 3 sisters, Deborah Keller (Larry), Colleen Irvin, Mary Kae Lindsey (Kelland), many uncles, nieces and nephews both here and in Ohio.
Wally loved sports, baseball and football. He played both throughout his youth and was a lineman on the Bothell High Football team when they won a Championship in 1976. He later went on to coach Little League and High School Football for 35 years in the area. He took great pride in his work mentoring, teaching the sport and teaching good sportsmanship. Wally worked as a box boy for Lucky Stores and then on to produce. He was a Produce Manager for QFC for over 20 years. He loved his job and his family and will be deeply missed.
