Seattle resident for 64 years. Former member of ILWU #19 and Ship and Dock Bosses of WA from 1941 to 1982. Survived by his children: Patricia Legesse of Ballard, Natalie Bartley of Auburn, Arthur wife Pam Shettle of Enumclaw, James wife Kim Shettle of Kirkland, Stephen Shettle of Ballard and eight grandchildren: Jeff, Rick, Byron, Ryan, Nolan, and Sam Shettle and Toby and Adam Rosand. He was preceded in death his son Rick.
Per his wishes a private inurnment ceremony will be held at Washelli Cemetery. Remembrances to a charity of your choice.
